Elizabeth A. Wentz

Elizabeth A. Wentz is dean of social sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a professor in the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning at Arizona State University. As dean, she advances the social sciences by creating cross-disciplinary expertise in health, global communities, inequality, and research methods. Her own research and teaching interests focus on the development and application of geospatial data analytical methods to the urban environment. She has conducted interdisciplinary research to better understand the social and physical factors that influence water demand and the policies that can help reduce use.
