Heejun Chang
Heejun Chang is a professor and chair of geography at Portland State University. His research and teaching focus on the impacts of and adaptation to climate change on water resources from a spatial perspective. With an interdisciplinary team of scientists he has conducted collaborative research projects on water supply, water quality, hydrologic extremes, water demand, and water-related ecosystem services. At the heart of this research is the explicit engagement of various water and land managers to help achieve water sustainability across multiple levels. He served as a lead author of the freshwater section of the 1st Oregon Climate Assessment.
