Among the resources offered to this network of open internet leaders is the Mozilla Gigabit Community Fund, a partnership with the National Science Foundation that funds the creation of high-speed internet applications and associated curricula. By broadening participation in shaping the future of emerging technologies like virtual reality, 4K streaming, and big data processing, the Mozilla Gigabit Community Fund is building a healthier future web. As the Gigabit Fund manager, Jenn Beard works on executing project strategy, diversifying funding support, managing local and national partnerships, and communicating the work to diverse audiences.
