Ryan Zohar is a program assistant for the International Dissertation Research Fellowship. He is a graduate of the Dual BA Program Between Sciences Po and Columbia University, where he studied Middle East politics and languages, focusing on the history of Jewish communities in the Middle East. Prior to joining the SSRC, he served as a fellow with the Center for Arabic Study Abroad in Amman, Jordan. He is also currently studying towards a master of arts in Near Eastern studies at New York University and a master of science in library & information science at Long Island University.
