Tijana Krstic
Tijana Krstic was an International Dissertation Research Fellow (IDRF) in 2002. She is associate professor in the Medieval Studies Department at Central European University, Budapest. Her work focuses on the religious and cultural history of the early modern Ottoman and broader Mediterranean world, with an emphasis on confessional politics and inter-confessional relations. She is author of several articles and a book entitled Contested Conversions to Islam: Narratives of Religious Change in the Early Modern Ottoman Empire (Stanford University Press, 2011).
