Victoria Szabo

Victoria Szabo is an associate research professor of visual and media studies at Duke University, director of the Duke Digital Humanities Initiative, and director of graduate studies for the PhD in Computational Media, Arts & Cultures. Her work focuses on the use of virtual worlds, augmented realty, and games in scholarship and art. In 2018 she is principal investigator on the Advanced Topics in Digital Art History: 3D Geospatial Networks Institute (#DAHVenice2018), supported by the Getty Foundation, and the Virtual and Augmented Reality for the Digital Humanities Institute (V/AR-DHI), supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
